Julie Yatjitja paints the Iwantja Tjukitji (Iwantja Soakage) and the story of Tjukitji – the native owl. Families from the area would come to the creek and drink from the soakage. The water is vital for life and for keeping cool in the summer time. The Tjukitji (Desert owl) travels across the desert to visit the creek also and drink from the water.
