Alpar Seed Dreaming
June Bird Ngale paints the Alpar, an important food source, and is also used for medicinal purposes. With a citrus scent and sticky to the touch, it produces small black seeds which can be ground up into a flour and used to make damper. Traditionally a focus in ceremony to help promote the plants growth and regeneration.
